Terms and Conditions
Our terms and conditions are designed to safeguard the health and well-being of your cat.
- All cats boarded must hold a current vaccination certificate and have been inoculated against feline influenza and feline enteritis. We regret that your cat will not be admitted without this. The inoculation certificate will need to be produced on arrival each time your cat visits the cattery.
- All vaccinations/boosters must be completed at least two weeks prior to boarding.
- We regret that we do not accept kittens under the age of 12 weeks.
- We recommend that you also treat your cat against fleas, worms and other parasites in advance of boarding - ask your Vet for details.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing any signs of ill health, pending advice from a Vet. Owners will appreciate that this is essential in order to safeguard the health of all the cats boarded.
- Whilst all possible care and attention is taken with each cat, in the unlikely event of your cat becoming ill or injured during their stay, we will seek veterinary treatment immediately. You will be required to sign a Veterinary Consent to this effect. All costs relating to such veterinary treatment will be your responsibility. We would strongly advise all cat owners to purchase pet insurance, which will usually cover any unexpected veterinary expenses.
- Except for show/breeding cats, we do not ordinarily accept un-neutered male cats over 9 months of age.
- We accept payment by cash, cheque (payable to Kaituna Bridge) or Paypal only.
- We require a 50% deposit in advance for all stays of 3 weeks or longer.
- In the case of cancellations, a refund of any advance payment or deposit will only be made if the cancellation is made 7 days in advance of the booking arrival date. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance will not be refunded.
